I have mixed feelings about these socks. Having bought many pairs of the very nice, bright coloured bamboo socks from Manchester, I found that they weren't very hard wearing. The store doesn't stock the ribbed variety of "colourburst" so I ordered 13 pairs online. Very nice socks again, but this time 11 of the pairs had pulled or unfinished threads around the top and I returned them for replacements. Instead they gave me a refund. Now I have no way of knowing whether I would get 11 perfect pairs if I was to order again and there seems to be no way of asking them to check, though I will get in touch to see if they can guarantee fault free pairs. So, a little disappointed so far. I just want perfect, hard wearing, colourful socks!
The most comfortable socks I have ever owned, BUT!They shrink. I've owned them in the past and they always shrink. (This pair hasn't, yet, but they will.) I know we're not supposed to tumble them but, in the Winter, how can we not? If you could fix that, I'd never buy anything else.
Lovely to receive a free pair of socks but sadly the other socks I ordered were larger so these were too small!
My main reason for shopping was to get some bamboo socks. These are good, but their knit isn’t more course than I was expecting, doesn’t have the lush softness that I’ve got with other pairs.
